- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. Note: The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, Rhode Island is NOT accepting quotes or proposals via submission through NECO. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, RI intends to acquire nine (9) 3U Rack Mount Computers and spare components for use in the Pacific Missile Range Facility. NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase on a firm fixed price basis the following item: CLIN 0001- *3U Rack Mount Computer. Quantity 7. CLIN 0002- *3U Rack Mount Computer. Quantity 2. CLIN 0003- Spare Motherboards for 3U Rackmount Computers. Quantity 3. CLIN 0004- Spare Power Supplies for 3U Rackmount Computers. Quantity 15. CLIN 0005- Spare CPUs for 3U Rackmount Computers. Quantity 2. CLIN 0006- Spare Fan Assemblies for 3U Rackmount Computers. Quantity 5. *CLINs 0001 & 0002 are the same item, but multiple CLINs are required due to funding requirements. This procurement is 100% small business set aside. NAICS Code is 334111, size standard is 1,000 employees. Minimum specifications and further details will be released upon issue of RFP #N66604-09-Q-3533, which is anticipated to be on or about 05/12/2009. Delivery will be required six (6) weeks after date of award. Any questions can be directed to Steve Lamb at stephen.a.lamb1@navy.mil. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov) in order to be eligible for award.
