- The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has a requirement for a contract to: 1) develop evaluation models to assess the safety impact of access management policies and treatments relevant to urban, urbanizing, and suburban arterials; 2) propose an access management evaluation framework that can be adopted by state and local agencies to evaluate compliance of access management policies, and the impacts of viable access treatment techniques; and 3) develop functional specifications showing step by step algorithms of evaluating the safety impacts of access management policies and techniques. This requirement is full and open competition pursuant to NAICS code 541990 with a size standard of 500 employees. The solicitation, all related documents and amendments, if any, will only be released and available electronically through the FedBizOpps posting system at http://www.Fedbizopps.gov under the Vendors option followed by selection of the Department of Transportation (DOT) center. As such, no written, telephonic, facsimile or email requests for the solicitation package will be honored. Interested parties can register at the aforementioned site to receive procurement announcements by email. Since this solicitation will only be available electronically, it is solely the responsibility of interested parties to monitor the FedBizOpps website for any solicitation amendments.
