- Description
- The Massachusetts Air National Guard located in Westfield Massachusetts intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to award a single, firm fixed-price contract to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary to replace the roof on the Petroleum Operations Building (POL), building number 033, at Barnes Air National Guard Base. The contract work includes the replacement of the existing ballasted roof of approximately 1,800 square feet on the building with a new, mechanically fastened and fully adhered, Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) roof system. The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is 13 May 2009. The tentative date for the pre-proposal conference is 19 May 2009. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend and shall follow conference registration and base access requirements shown in the solicitation. A site visit will follow the pre-proposal conference. The solicitation closing date is tentatively scheduled for 12 June 2009. Actual dates and times will be identified in the solicitation. Solicitation documents, plans and specifications will be available via the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) homepage located at https://www.fbo.gov/ and hard copies will not be available. The estimated price range of the project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The NAICS Code for this project is 238160 with a size standard of $14 million. This action is being procured as a Total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside IAW FAR 52.219-27. Offers are solicited only from service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns. Offers received from concerns that are not service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns shall not be considered.
