Description
NSN 1095-01-063-9399– hook assembly, being bought in accordance with (30003) drawing 549AS260 and all related data. The total quantity required is 390 each with 150 each to be shipped to (W25G1U) New Cumberland, PA 17070-5000 and 240 each to be shipped to (W62G2T) Tracy, CA 95304-5000. There is also a 100% option for up to 390 each that may or may not be exercised. This solicitation is an RFP and will be available on the Internet at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp after the issue date of 5/21/09; hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Technical drawings/bid sets are available after the same issue date on the Internet at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The small business size standard is 500 employees. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, and past performance. The required delivery is 390 each in 300 days. Item requires Government First Article Test, 25 units to be submitted in 90 days. Based on market research this item is manufactured for military use only and is not commercial; therefore, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12 in its solicitation for this item. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government’s requirement with a commercial item with 15 days of this notice. This solicitation document contains information that has been designated as “Military Critical Technical Data.” Only businesses that have been certified by the DOD, US/Canada Joint Certification Officer, and have a valid requirement may have a copy of the solicitation document. All requests for copies of the solicitation document must include a certified copy of DD Form 2345, Military Critical Technical Data Agreement.
