- Description
- The Kootenai National Forest, Three Rivers Ranger District, is soliciting proposals for the Keeler Bank Stabilization project. Work includes the following: reshape eroding stream bank, develop pit and deliver/stockpile rock, extract and haul whole trees, equipment rental to construct engineered log structures and reconstruct stream channel, remove and install culverts, and repave road. Estimated start date is 8/1/09 with a completion date of 9/30/10. There is a timing restriction of July 15 to August 31 for a portion of the work. It is estimated that this project will be available no earlier than 5/20/09 in which all interested contractors will be able to download the solicitation at that time.
