Description
Item Descriptions This acquisition is for a Firm Fixed price (FFP), Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC). FAR Part 12 – Acquisition of Commercial Items procedures apply. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one of more times at the discretion of the Government. The total shall not exceed 3 years. Award will be made on an ALL OR NONE BASIS per NSN for the supplies covered under this contract. This is an UNRESTRICTED acquisition. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive, technical data, therefore the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) 1. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Copies of the solicitation will be available at the https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/ and will available simultaneously as this notice is published in the FEDBIZOPPS. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. ( X ) The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on its issue date of May 11, 2009. ( X ) Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. ( X ) The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 3 years. ( X ) This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply 5945. ( X ) While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
