- NASA/GSFC has a requirement for 1 YEAR MAINTENANCE ON LIGHTNING 20,000 IPs AND 1YEAR MAINTENANCE FOR 1 PASSIVEVULNERABILITY SCANNER LICENSENASA/GSFC intends to purchase the items from TENABLE NETWORK SECURITY, INC. pursuant toFAR 13.106, for the acquisition of supplies or services determined to be reasonablyavailable from only one source. Tenable is the only authorized seller which can supplythe qualified software/hardware product.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 2:30 p.m. EST on datelisted above. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purposeof determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Adetermination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and opencompetition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretionof the government.Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.An Ombudsman has been appointed. See NASA Specific Note "B".
