- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W912EQ-09-Q-0027 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This procurement is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The associated NAICS code is 532412 with a size standard of $7M. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Quotes shall be submitted electronically to celestine.g.evans@usace.army.mil. It is the offerors responsibility to ensure receipt of quotes by the time and date stated herein. Contractors shall submit a lump sum quotation to include all charges. SECTION A DESCRIPTION/SPECIFICATIONS/WORK STATEMENT A-1.Scope - The work to be done under these specifications consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment and materials, and performing all operations in connection with the delivery of construction equipment as described below. The Government reserves the right to refuse other makes/models if they will not meet the Governments requirements. Complete specifications of quoted equipment shall be furnished with quote. A thirty day option may be included at time of award. SECTION B DELIVERIES B-1.Deliveries Quick turnaround is necessary in order for the Government to fulfill its mission. Therefore, the items to be supplied under this purchase order shall be delivered to the job site within 3-5 days of award. The jobsite is located at the Northwest Tennessee Harbor (NWTH) near Tiptonville, TN. Directions can be obtained from POC listed below. Prior to shipment, the Contractor shall coordinate delivery with the following personnel.
