- Anticipated Issue Date: July 1, 2009. SERVICE, PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE/REPAIR of Mettler Toledo meat processing equipment such as automatic wrappers and scales at approximately 134 various Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) commissaries throughout the continental United States, Alaska and Hawaii. DeCA intends to award a sole-source, firm fixed-price type contract under authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, on an all or none basis to Mettler Toledo, Inc. The contract will be for a Base Period starting December 1, 2009 and ending November 30, 2010 with two one-year options ending November 30, 2012. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 811219; business Size Standard is $7 million. Parties may identify their interest by submitting relevant information in response to this notice in writing, which should include a capability statement to show your experience in providing maintenance and repairs of Mettler Toledo auto-wrappers and scales and the ability to obtain authorized Mettler Toledo repair parts. Firms may submit a capability statement within fifteen (15) calendar days of publication of this notice.
