- This is a presolicitation notice. This contract is for the services for trail maintenance and construction of drainage structures on the Methow Valley Ranger District, Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. The work is within the Pasayten Wilderness Area in an area that burned in 2006. The work includes logging out, drainage, turnpike maintenance and construction of waterbars and grade dips. The contractor is required to work in compliance with the terms, specifications, and provisions in this solicitation. This includes furnishing labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals for contract performance. The contractor shall practice minimum impact camping techniques and comply with all regulations and requirements for working in the designated Wilderness area. The solicitation will be issued on 5/19/2009.
