- Project work includes: construction staking, soil erosion and pollution control, clearing and grubbing, excavation, dewatering and stream diversion work, removal and disposal of the old culvert, removal and disposal of concrete headwall, topsoil conservation, placing precast footings, load, haul, and assembly of structural bottomless plate box structure, riprap placement, backfill and finish grade and stream simulation rock placement through the new structure. Project shall conform to the requirements as stated in the Memorandum of Understanding between the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife and the USDA Forest Service. In-stream work window of July 1 – September 30 will be in effect on this project. Period of performance is 30 contract days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Steel box bottomless structure is Government furnished. Concrete footings, riprap, and aggregate shall come from a commercial source or provided by the contractor. The solicitation will be issued on 05/19/2009. There is no set aside for this project.
