- Presolicitation Notice Solicitation Number AG-04R3-S-09-259742 Response Date: 06/12/2009 Solicitation Issue Date: 05/20/2009 100% Set-Aside for small Business NAICS: 481212 Nonscheduled Chartered Freight Air Transportation, 1500 Employees of Less FLY CREEK WOODY DEBRIS RESTORATION PROJECT ON THE LAGRANDE RANGER DISTRICT ON THE WALLOWA-WHITMAN NATIONAL FOREST The purpose of this contract is to secure helicopter services to accomplish a stream restoration project. The Contractor shall provide aerial services to transport 125 trees, most with rootwads attached (59 rootwads with 50’ log attached, 47 logs, & 19 rootwads with 10’ stump), from a staging site to flagged destinations on Fly Creek. Many of the limbs are still intact. The trees shall be placed within 6’ of flagged locations and all root wads will be placed within the stream channel. The quoter is advised to visit the worksite to determine an estimate of cost prior to submitting a quote. The quoter shall be responsible for determining the amount of work. This will require a Helicopter capable of lifting up to 20,000 pounds. For technical questions about this project please contact the Contracting Officer’s Representative, Joe Platz at (541) 962-8571.
