Description
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to enter into sole source negotiations and subsequently award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Order under the Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-05-G-0026 to The Boeing Company. This order will provide for Launcher Relay Assembly (LRA) Kits and Engineering Support for an FMS customer, as well as applicable technical data and training. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Unless stated herein, no additional information is available. Requests for the same will be disregarded. A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. GENERAL INFORMATION: The Boeing Company has a unique knowledge base of the Harpoon Weapon System, as a result of its design, development, and modification of these systems. Accordingly, The Boeing Company is the only known qualified, responsible source that can fulfill the requirements specified herein. Subcontracting opportunities may be available and should be sought with The Boeing Company at the following address: The Boeing Company, P.O Box 516, St. Louis, MO 63166-0516. Once NAVAIR finalizes its requirements for the subject effort, a prerequisite for receiving contract award will be registration in the DOD’s Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. For more information on the CCR, contact the CCR Assistance Center at 888-227-2423. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or be responsible for any money expended by interested parties before award of a contract for the effort described above.
