- Description
- The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Energy Information Administration (EIA), intends to award a sole source contract to Nehring Associates of Colorado Springs, Co. The requirement consists of obtaining the latest edition of the database entitled ?The Significant Oil and Gas Fields of the United States Database?. This database will contain the most current detailed oil and gas field reservoir data that are necessary to contribute to the analysis and support of EIA?s domestic energy modeling efforts. The proposed action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a) (2) (ii). This is a notice of intent and not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation is available for this requirement. Interested parties should submit a capability statement and pricing information for the requirement within 30 calendar days of publication of this notice, to be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement.
