Description
This procurement is in support of the Naval Facilities Expeditionary Logistics Center (NFELC), Port Hueneme, CA 93043.NFELC is seeking the design, engineering, fabrication, test, and delivery of commercial-type, military modified, portable 250-ton-per-hour (TPH) aggregate washing and screening units. It also includes associated program management requirements, logistics support requirements, and various data deliverables. The washing and screening unit will be semi-trailer mounted and electric-motor driven. The washing and screening unit will work in unison with portable stockpile/feed conveyors, a diesel-driven electric generator unit, and a diesel-driven water pump to form an aggregate washing and screening plant; however, the washing and screening unit is the purpose of this procurement.The washing and screening unit is intended for quarry or gravel-pit type operations. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated. This solicitation is synopsized as unrestricted basis. The NAICS code is 333131. The solicitation utilizes source selection procedures which require offerors to submit a technical proposal and a price proposal for evaluation by the Government. The contract term will be a base period. This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract. No information exist on prior contracts. Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation at http//ww.neco.navy.mil when it becomes available. The proposed contract listed here is 100 percent unrestricted. Offers must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be considered for award. Registration is free and can be completed on-line at http://www.ccr.gov/. Offerors shall complete an electronic On-Line Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). ORCA can! be found at http://orca.bpn.gov.
