- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center - Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office intends to acquire through full and open competition Stricken Aircraft Reclamation and Disposal (SARDIP) services to support the mission of the SARDIP program. This support shall consist of reclaiming parts, transport, and/or dispose of aircraft that are stricken on-site rather than at the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group. The effort is to be performed under orders placed under an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract, consisting of a base year and four (4) one year options. This requirement is a follow-on effort to contract N00189-08-D-Z045. The solicitation will consider offerors' technical proposals to be more important than their cost/price proposals. The following labor categories are anticipated: Project Manager, Aircraft Mechanic I, Aircraft Worker, Aircraft Mechanic Helper, and Stock Clerk. The estimated hours of service for the contract are as follows: Base Year36,288 hoursOption Year I36,288 hoursOption Year II36,288 hoursOption Year III36,288 hoursOption Year IV36,288 hoursTotal 181,440 hours The anticipated start date for the contract is March 1, 2010. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that will be considered by the Navy. The solicitation will require the submission of cost/price and technical proposals. The applicable NAICS Code is 541330. The RFP will be made available electronically, upon its release, which is anticipated on or about 5/21/09 at http://www.neco.navy.mil. All contractors must be registered (http:/www.ccr.gov) in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
