- Test Mounting Adapter Purchase Specs. The 530 CMMXS is responsible for repair and testing of the 36E153-6E air turbine starter on the KC-135. This workload is currently done through a test mounting adapter (P/N U8773, NSN 4920-01-250-5521). The Contractor shall design the test adapter per to the same form, fit, and function of the existing adapter, which shall accommodate Air Force testing (T.O. 2JA3-63-3 15 Mar 2004 change 6 - 15 Aug 2008, develop a manufacturing drawing package, and assemble the adapter to be compatible with the existing unit. This is a request for information seeking sources capable of meeting the requirements in the attached Purchase Description. When responding please include: 1. Company Name and Cage code 2. Who is your POC please provide email address and phone number. 3. Experience with same or similar items 4. Suggested NAICS Code 5. Business Size Classification for NAICS and qualifications if any as any sub-category. (i.e. 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, etc.) 6. Would you be a prime or subcontractor? 7. Lead Time for the task performance The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of these sources sought or to otherwise pay for the information solicited. The information provided is considered market research and may be utilized by the AF in developing its acquisition strategy, Statement of Objectives, and Performance Specifications. Any proprietary information that is submitted may be used as a general concept but specific information will be safeguarded as proprietary, if so marked. Interested offerors should send a response to the sources sought inquiry and the questions listed above to the Contract Negotiator. Responses should be submitted by 4:00 pm MDT on May 15, 2009.
