- This special notice is posted to inform the public that the Bureau of Public Debt intends to award on a sole source basis, a simplified acquisition to The Arbinger Company, 563 West 500 South, STE 200, Woods Cross, UT 84010-8172. The Bureau of the Public Debt has a requirement for four hundred-forty seven (447) packets, required to teach and distributed to each person in attendance of the two (2) eight (8) hour days of training. The materials (packets) required include, "Leadership and Self-Deception," "The Choice Handbook," "The Choice at Work Handbook," and "The Anatomy of Peace." "The Choice" and "The Choice at Work" handbooks are the sole property of The Arbinger Company and their content is protected under federal and international copyright and other laws. Public Debt believes that these training materials have real potential for benefitting their employees, their organization, and their customers. The unique body of training materials The Arbinger Company offers is the next step in Public Debt's pursuit of being and remaining a value-based organization. It helps establish positive, productive relationships between employees and their leaders. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT IS AVAILABLE. A request for more information or a copy of the solicitation will not be considered an affirmative response. Public Debt will consider written responses received, at PSB2@bpd.treas.gov, no later than 10:00 a.m. EST May 7, 2009 and shall include sufficient evidence that clearly shows the vendor is capable of providing the requested maintenance. If no written response is received that clearly demonstrates the ability to meet all requirements and that it is more advantageous to the Government, we will make a sole source award to The Arbinger Company. No telephone inquires will be accepted.
