- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE for FA8601-09-R-0026, Project Number ZHTV 080026A/B, Upgrade Power & Cooling, Building 20676, Area B. Period of Performance is 300 days for the construction portion. The overall estimated price range is between $5M-10M including options. This is a full and open competition. In accordance with DFARS 252.204-704 required Central Contractor Registration (CCR), Contractors must be registered in CCR prior to award. Registration may be accomplished at http://www.ccr2000.com/index.cfm, or 1-888-CCR-2423 Fax: 1-703-696-0213. SCOPE OF WORK: This project includes replacement of 500-ton chillers, chilled water pumps, cooling towers, tower pumps, energy saving modernization heat exchangers, renovation of vacant Facility 20677 to a mechanical room and electrical infrastructure, modification of 15 kV Switchgear, transformers, switchgear and power distribution units. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS/CONCERNS: Contractor needs extensive experience with construction and modernization of commercial data center mechanical and high voltage electrical systems. The project must be conducted with limited scheduled shut-downs to an operational facility. NOTES: 1. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be available on the World Wide Web on or about 18 May 2009, at https://www.pixs.wpafb.af.mil. 2. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be provided. You may, however, download and print the file from the web site. 3. There is no fee for this solicitation. 4. A hard copy of the solicitation will be available for review at Dayton Builders Exchange, Minority Contractor Business Assistance Program, and F.W. Dodge Division in Dayton, OH. 5. A registration page will be attached to the web site. You are not required to register. However, when you register, you will receive notice of any amendments and/or addenda that may be issued to the solicitation. If you have not registered, it will be your responsibility to check the web site for any changes to the solicitation. 6. Contractors shall be capable of securing bonding for the total proposed amount. 7. Contractors shall provide a signed copy of the SF 1442 by the proposal closing date specified in the solicitation. 8. Contractors that are Debarred, Suspended, or Proposed for Debarment are excluded from receiving contracts.
