Description
RECOVERY DEMOLITION: General requirements 1) Contractor shall demolish ceramic and vinyl floor tile, wall tile, carpet, & cove base. 2) Contractor shall demolish fan coil units. 3) Contractor shall demolish tubs and drains. 4) Contractor shall remove water closets and store until re-installed. 5) Contractor shall demolish interior doors and frames. 6) Contractor shall demolish vanities, sinks and vanities tops. 7) Contractor shall demolish latrine accessories. 8) Contractor shall demolish HVAC grills, vents, ducting, and access panels. 9) Contractor shall demolish gypsum walls and ceiling where needed. 10) Contractor shall demolish all isolation (shut-off) valves. 11) Contractor shall demolish plumbing, water lines, and vents as needed. 12) Contractor shall demolish showerhead and control valves. 13) Contractor shall demolish lighting where needed. 14) Contractor shall demolish HVAC controls. 15) Contractor shall remove heat and smoke detectors and re-install on drop ceiling. NEW WORK: Architectural: 1) Contractor shall provide new painting to walls, ceilings, doors and trim. 2) Contractor shall provide new sinks, solid surface countertops, mirrors, vanities, and latrine accessories. 3) Contractor shall provide new floorings (all types) and rubber cove base where needed. 4) Contractor shall provide new concrete board in bathtub area. 5) Contractor shall provide new interior wood doors and metal frames. 6) Contractor shall provide new door hardware. 7) AAB shall provide new 2' x 2' drop-ceilings im bedroom area. 8) Contractor shall provide new wall and floor ceramic tile. 9) Contractor shall provide new shower curtains and rods. 10) Contractor shall provide gypsum rock over main entry door. Structural: Plumbing: 1) Contractor shall provide new cast iron tubs with all accessories and connections. 2) Contractor shall provide new drop in sinks (with overflows) and all accessories, "P" traps, angle-stops, and connections. 3) Contractor shall provide new showerheads and control valves. 4) Contractor shall provide new plumbing (with insulation), sewer, and vents lines where needed. 5) Contractor shall provide new condensate lines for new HVAC where needed. 6) Contractor shall provide new isolation valves for all areas accessible from the walls with access panels. 7) Contractor shall provide re-installation of water closets and provide new flush valves. 8) Contractor shall provide new escutcheons for all piping. Mechanical: 1) Contractor shall provide new fan coil units (FCU's), thermostatic/fan controls, isolation valves, valves, bypass valves, strainers, insulation, sealer, and hangers where needed. 2) Contractor shall provide new supply/return grills and filters. 3) Contractor shall provide new access panels. 4) Contractor shall provide new exhaust grills in the latrine and shower area. 5) Contractor shall provide new automatic air bleeders if needed. Electrical: 1) Contractor shall provide new wall and ceiling lights, switches, and receptacles (GFI if needed). 2) Contractor shall provide new power connections for new fan coil units. 3) Contractor shall provide new location and install smoke/heat detectors.
