- Document Security Notice NAICS Code 236220. Work includes, but is not limited to: removal of approximately 266 square yards of glued down broadloom carpet, approximately 2,400 square feet existing ceiling tile and grid, approximately 440 square feet of existing slab to slab drywall partitions, approximately 645 square feet of existing slab to slab wall with ballistic material and wire mesh, including 2 ballistic windows and 1 ballistic door and door frame, remove 3 solid core wood doors and metal frames; construct approximately 600 square feet of new slab to slab ballistic resistant wall, approximately 465 square feet of new slab to slab drywall; paint approximately 3,110 square feet drywall partitions, hang existing light fixtures and intercom speakers, remove 1 fire extinguisher, remove and reinstall exit lights install approximately 266 yards of government furnished broadloom carpet with attached pad, install approximately 2,400 of new 2' x 4' ceiling tile and grid, reinstall existing 2' x 4' light fixtures and HVAC supply and return air diffusers; reinstall existing intercom speakers in new ceiling tiles, install 4 new data wall outlets, install 7 new 120 volt wall outlets. All work will be performed at the Federal Building/US Post Office/Courthouse, Pierre, South Dakota. Security clearances will be required for all workers. To be eligible for award, contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov. Work to be completed within 60 calendar days after notice to proceed. Estimated cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The solicitation will be issued May 15, 2009, with offers due on June 10, 2009. Anticipated award date is June 19, 2009. Information regarding a site visit will be announced in the solicitation. The solicitation will be NOT made available electronically. Paper copies of the solicitation will be made available. Requests for paper copies must be made in writing to the Contracting Officer at PO Box 19, Aberdeen, SD 57402. The request must be accompanied by the Document Security Notice (see below). Fax requests will be accepted at 605-226-7305. This procurement is being conducted on an unrestricted basis in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. All responsible sources submitting an offer will be considered. A site visit is recommended. The subject drawings for this solicitation include Sensitive But Unclassified building information (SBU). For reasons of security and before release of SBU information, the requester must complete and sign the Document Security Notice (see Document Security Notice post in conjunction with this synopsis in FedBizOpps). All of the following information must be submitted and provided by the requester via the spaces provided in the Notice: 1) Copy of business license (or other documentation granted by the state or local jurisdiction to conduct business); 2) Company's Dun and Bradstreet number; and 3) Valid Tax Identification Number. The Notice shall be submitted to the point of contact cited herein. No e-mail copies will be accepted; however, facsimiles will be accepted. After verification of the preceding information, the requester will be designated as an authorized user and a copy of the drawings will be sent to the address the requester has provided.
