- Description
- Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, tools, and permits necessary to erect sidewalk protection canopy. Provide debris netting when needed. Provide one level of plank on top of canopy for full width of canopy with " plywood over plank. Provide trucking and labor to erect the scaffolding at the start of the lease period and to dismantle and remove the scaffolding at the end of the lease period. The VA is planning on soliciting a contract for a base rental period from October 1, 2009 until September 30, 2010 with four option years. During the lease period, the VAMC may require the contractor to modify sections of existing sidewalk protection and additional areas of sidewalk protection may be added during the length of the contract. Removal of current sections, addition of new sections or modifications to sections of sidewalk protection will all be considered within the scope. The VAMC must remain operational at all times and the contractor may be required to perform work during other than normal work hours such as nights and/or weekends. The NAISC code for this is 532490 and the size standard is $6.5 million.
