- Description
- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Center - Fort Bragg, North Carolina has a requirement to provide Educational Services for the Soldier Development Program for the period of 1 July 2009 through 31 March 2010 to include four (4) one year option periods. Service shall include job-related skills and leadership skill enhancement courses to assist in unit readiness, cross training and support readiness in preparation for the non-Commissioned Officer Enlisted System (NCOES). Contractor is to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, supplies and other items and services necessary for two specific programs: Basic Skills Education Program (BSEP) and the Leader Skill Enhancement Course (LSEC) program. BSEPs purpose is to promote retention, increase reenlistment options and improve job performance. LSEC courses support readiness and training beyond the fundamental level and are based on nine leadership competencies. The LSEC courses consist of Effective Writing, Counseling Skills and Human Relations, Management and Supervision, Maintenance Management, Digital Training Management System (DTMS), Property Book Operations (PBUSE/USE), Standard Army Maintenance System-Enhanced (SAM-E), Unit Movement Officer (UMO), TCAIMS II, and open laboratories in support of UMO and TCAIMII. Contractor is required to be accredited by one of the following nationally recognized institutions: American Association of Bible Colleges, Association of Independent Schools and Colleges, Middle Association of Colleges and Schools; New England Association of Schools and Colleges; North Central Association of Colleges and Schools; Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges; Southern Association of Colleges and Schools; or Western Association of Schools and Colleges. This action will be conducted as a commercial service acquisition in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. It is anticipated that this requirement will be unrestricted. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 611210, Junior Colleges and the size standard is $6 million. The anticipated issuing RFQ W91247-09-T-0283, will not be on or around April 27, 2009. The Governement anticipates the new date of soliciatation release to be on or about May 15, 2009. The solicitation and amendments, if applicable will be available for downloading at the Army Single Face to Industry website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation package and any amendments. It is a requirement that all contractors doing business with the Department of Defense be registered with Central Contractors Registry (CCR) per FAR 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration. The website may be accessed on the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed and telephone requests will not be honored.
