- NF/SG Veterans Healthcare System, Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center, 1601 SW Archer Road, Gainesville, FL 32608 is seeking qualified contractors to submit responsive bids for janitorial service. The work will be performed at VA Compensation & Pension, 5415 SW 64th Street, Gainesville, FL 32608. The scope of work consists of but is not strictly limited to, furnishing all labor; material and equipment necessary to provide janitorial and related services. This is a competitive procurement and is a 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 561720 with a size standard of $5.5 million. This is a negotiated procurement; there will NOT be a public bid opening. Solicitation VA-248-09-RQ-0347 will be available on or about May 5, 2009.A site visit will be conducted on May 20, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at VA Compensation & Pension, 5415 SW 64th Street, Gainesville, FL 32608, for all potential offerors. Potential offerors shall RSVP NLT May 18, 2009 by email only to the contract specialist Clifford.Snipe@va.gov. Offerors shall provide the following information on company letterhead: Company name, address, phone number, DUNS, tax identification number, point of contact name and email address. Attendees are limit to two (2) per company. The solicitation cited above can only be obtained by accessing a secure website known as the FedBizOpps. FedBizOpps is a secure website designed to safeguard sensitive but unclassified (SBU) acquisition information. In order to obtain information from FedBizOpps, you will first be required to register with CCR (Central Contractor's Registration) database. You may access CCR at the following URL, www.bpn.gov. Once you register with CCR you will be required to register with FedBizOpps. No federal materials can be downloaded until you have registered under both sites. Also, beginning January 1, 2005, as required by the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) all vendors were required to use the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) in federal solicitations as a part of the proposal submission. You may access ORCA via the following URL, www.orca.bpn.gov. Potential offerors should refer to the solicitation package regarding instructions involving the use of ORCA. The electronic solicitation VA-248-09-RQ-0347 may be downloaded on http://wwwfedbizopps.gov. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and monitoring the website for amendment(s), if any to the solicitation. All questions must be submitted in writing to the following email address Clifford.Snipe@va.gov or faxed to Clifford Snipe at 352 381-5747 No telephone responses will be accepted. Quotes shall be submitted to NF/SG VHS, Procurement Business Division (90F), 1601 SW Archer Rd Gainesville, FL 32608 by May 29, 2009 at 4:00 PM EST, either by mail or hand carried. Fax/Email quotes will not be accepted.
