- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Salem, Virginia (VAMC Salem) has a need to procure Virtual Pharmacy services for eligible veteran beneficiaries. Services are estimated to be needed for a period of one year with Four one year renewable option periods. Pharmacist shall be able to provide prescriptions to VA beneficiaries as prescribed by physicians. The contractor must possess all licenses, permits, accreditation's and certificates as required by law. The contractor shall provide all necessary equipment and personnel to perform Virtual Pharmacy Services in accordance with the contract requirements. An estimated 300 prescriptions per day or 72,000 per year will be filled on an as needed basis. The NAICS code for this requirement is 446110, Size Standard is $7.0M. The procurement will be conducted utilizing the commercial item procedures of FAR 12 in conjunction with FAR 15. Solicitation packages will be available on or about April 30, 2009.
