- Description
- The TACOM Contracting Center (TCC), in Warren, Michigan, intends to solicit, on a full and open competitive basis, the systems engineering, development, integration, demonstration, and experimentation activities of the Armys Improved Mobility and Operational Performance through Autonomous Technologies Army Technology Objective (IMOPAT ATO) program. This effort will integrate technologies from partnering Army Research, Development and Engineering Command (RDECOM) facilities in order to support future concepts of full-spectrum, closed-hatch operations with respect to critical vehicle mobility and local area awareness functions for crews and dismounting infantry. Key activities shall include technology development and integration of Government Furnished Equipment/Property/Software (GFE/P/S) into a representative manned/unmanned system and activities associated with experimentation of this system. It is anticipated that the period of performance shall be 38 months with one 12-month option. The estimated release date of RFP W56HZV-09-R-0157 is 04-May-2009. An award of a cost plus fixed fee - completion type contract is anticipated. The website identified below will be the source of information and updates about this proposed effort.
