- RECOVERY - THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER ROOF IDIQ CONTRACT NUMBER FA9301-07-D-0002. Contractor: Vanguard Construction, Inc. P.O. Box 239, Arroyo Grande, CA. It is the Contracting Squadron's intent to award firm-fixed price task orders to the above contractor. Davis-Bacon wages presently in effect for California. CA070031 (Modification 13) dated 11/23/2007 and CA070031 (Modification 12) dated 08/24/2007 and CA070013 (Modification 9) 08/12/2007 will prevail. These acquisitions are subject to the North American Industry Classification Code 236220 and the annual size standard is $14.0 million. RECOVERY - Repair Energy Insulate, Building 8350 - FSPM081428D THE PROJECT DESCRIPTION IS AS FOLLOWS: The work to be accomplished is furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required to replace the existing gravel ballast built-up roof of building 8350. Remove existing gravel ballast from the built up roofing system (BUR). Install tapered insulation on top of the existing BUR system to provide a minimum slope of 1/2:12 to the roofing system. Install 1/4" dens deck roofing board in top of the tapered insulation. Install a PVC single-ply membrane roofing system. Replace metal flashings, gutters, downspouts, and drip edges. All metal shall be prefinished Redwood in color with the exception of downspouts, which shall be Marble Cream in color. Paint roof equipment and unfinished materials on roof Marble Cream in color. For roofs with a slope of 2:12 or less - "Use roofing materials having a Solar Reflectance Index (SRI) equal to or greater than 78." For roof with a slope greater than 2:12 - "Use roofing materials having a Solar Reflectance Index (SRI) equal to or greater than 29". This facility is located at AFRL, Edwards Air Force Base, California.
