- Description
- The Southeast Regional Mantenance Center (SERMC) has a requirement for repair and testing of electric motors and ventilation fans. Under the requirements of this proposed contract, the contractor shall furnish the necessary management, technical services, labor, material support services, equipment and facilities to accomplish repair of AC/DC Motors, Motor Generator (MG) Sets and Sealed Insulation System (SIS)/ Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) Motors. The repairs will include required support to disconnect (electrically and mechanically), inspect and report, remove from ship, repair or refurbish, rewind, clean and re-assemble, shop test, reinstall, re-connect, andshipboard operational test AC/DC Motors, Motor Generator (MG) Sets and Sealed Insulation System (SIS)/Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) Motors. The work will be accomplished onboard U.S. Navy vessels at Naval Station Mayport in Jacksonville, Florida. Contract type will be an Indefinite, Indefinite Quanity (IDIQ) for a base period of one (1) year and four (4) one- year option periods.
