- The ACQUISIITON SERVICE CENTER VISN 9, Murfreesboro, Tennessee is soliciting services for the Lexington, Kentucky VA Medical Center. The LEXINGTON VAMC has a requirement for SURGICAL INTENSIVISTS to provide coverage of the surgical intensive care unit. Hours of coverage to be detailed in the solicitation. Physicians must be licensed certified surgical intensivist. The period of performance will be for a six-month base period, with four renewal periods of six-months each. The National American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 621111, threshold of $10 million. It is a requirement that all contractors be registered with CCR (Central Contractor Registration). Solicitation will be posted on or about May 5, 2009. No paper copies will be available. Proposal due date and time are included in the solicitation. Contract type is firm-fixed price.
