- This is a Special Notice of intent to sole-source. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to negotiate a noncompetitive contract with the Atlanta Marriott Century Center. The purpose of this procurement is for the contractor to provide rental and set-up of conference room/ballroom, refreshments/food, audio-visual equipment/set-up, hotel accommodations (128 rooms), administration, and labor to host an annual awards ceremony consisting of 400 employees. A determination not to compete this proposed contract has been made Pursuant to 41 U.S. C. 253(c)(1), as implemented by 6.302-1, this requirement has been justified and approved in accordance with FAR 6.303 and FAR 6.304. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Any other interested organizations must submit a written statement of their capabilities and qualifications to fulfill this requirement to the identified point of contact as soon as possible, but not later than 1:00 p.m. local time on 04/27/2009. Faxed and emailed statements are acceptable, but the senders bear full responsibility to ensure complete transmission and timely receipt.
