The following is a summary of work to replace Boiler Roof Tubes, located at Clear Air Station, AK. The project shall include, but is not limited to: Contractors will furnish all plant, labor, equipment, materials and personnel necessary to plan, design, manage, and perform all work required to complete the replacement of the existing Boiler Roof Tube No. 94 – 102, in boilers 1, 2, and 3. Asbestos containing materials are present in the construction area and may impact the demolition and construction being performed. The Government intends to evaluate offers and select the awardees utilizing Performance Price Trade-Off. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 237130 with a size standard of $33.5 million. The magnitude of this project is $500,000 to $1,000,000. This acquisition is being solicited under the Small Business Set Aside Program, in accordance with FAR 19.5. THIS SOLICITATION AND ANY AMENDMENTS ARE PAPERLESS AND WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE INTERNET ONLY. **NOTE: PAPER COPIES WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE.** All contractors must be registered in the Centralized Contractor Registration (CCR) program in order to receive a contract award from any DOD activity. Contractors may access the Internet site at: http://www.ccr.gov to register and/or obtain information about the CCR program. The solicitation will be available on or about 24 April 2009. A solicitation mailing list will not be maintained for this procurement. All solicitation documents will be available electronically; it is the responsibility of interested parties to review this notification thoroughly and to check this website frequently for any updates.
