- Description
- The Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE), on behalf of the Headquarters Department of the Army, Publishing Directorate, intends to award a sole source purchase order to Astoria Software, Incorporation, San Mateo, California. The contractor shall make available a: 1X Astoria Workgroup Authoring Server 38X Astoria SGML/XML Authoring Client (Concurrent up to 49) 1X Astoria Bridge to Arbor text EPIC 4.x Server License 1X Astoria SDK License for Windows NT/2000 The Government intends to solicit and negotiate the required services with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (a)(ii)(B). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals. However, the Government will consider all capability statements received by 10:00 A.M., 28 April 2009. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantage by the Government in future procurements. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
