- Description
- 40MM Grenade Launcher, hand held, semi-automatic, with a 5.5 inch chamber. The launcher can be loaded with four-six 40mm rounds and can be capable of firing all DODTI and NATO standard lethal and non-lethal 40X46 low velocity munitions. Requirements include: Weight less than 16 lbs, length 33" (stock collapsed) and 41" (stock extended) and max effective range of at least 150 meters, point target, and 375-400 meters area target. This weapon shall integrate with four (4) MIL-STD 1913 Accessory Rails, Sighting System, includes initial sustaining spare parts, operational spare parts list,special tools and gauge set, data consisting of the Contractor's Maintainer's Manual Operator's Manual in hardcopy and electronic submission in accordance with DD Form 1423. Also, the contractor will provide hands on training and instruction at various locations. In addition, the contractor will provide 6 weapons for testing at no expense to the government, but will receive the test results.
