- The MICC, Ft Bliss TX. is seeking 100% set aside HUB ZONE firm to install chain link fence with gates at bldg 2624 and 2654. Offers received from concerns that are not HUBZone small business concerns shall not be considered. Contract will be a firm fixed price. Statement of work for B-2624 prepare area for installation, install approx. 875 lineal feet of 9 gage chain link fence at 7 + 1 barbed wire height with 2 3/8 O.D. in addition, poles at 10 foot O.C. to include 1 5/8 top rail to include 1single raiser arms. Install double 9 gage chain line sliding gate, 6 + 1, to accommodate a thirty foot opening to include concrete 18 pad with metal rail. Install one pedestrian gate, 6 + 1 x 4. For B-2654 remove and dispose of approx. 350 feet of existing fence line, prepare area for installation of chain link fence. Install approximately 1380 lineal feet of 9 gage chain link fence at 6 + 1 barbed wire height with 2 3/8 O. D. in addition, poles at 10 foot O.C. to include 1 5/8 top rail to include 1 single raiser arms. Install one 9 gage double swinging gate approx. 6 + 1 x 28. Install two 9 gage chain line sliding gates, 6 + 1, to accommodate a thirty foot opening to include concrete 18 pad with metal rail. Install one pedestrian gate, 6 + 1 x 4. For both buildings the contractor shall be required to supply all tie downs, 2 7/8 and 4 terminals and, and to prepare area before installing chain link fence and place concrete to secure each fence, corner and gate posts. A single award shall be made to HUB ZONE contractor with the lowest price offer. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The NAICS CODE for this work is 238990, Chain link fence. Site visit will be conducted on 30 Apr at 1:30 p.m. All offerors are encouraged to attend and should bring a copy of their request for quotation package with them.
