Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is being conducted with commercial procedures as outlined at FAR 12. Solicitation number H92240-09-T-0342 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The resulting contract will be firm fixed price. This is a simplified acquisition. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-29. Note #1 applies. FSC: 3700, NAICS: 423110, with a size standard of NTE 100 EMPLOYEES F.O.B. Destination. Local San Diego, California Area ( 200 mile radius ) consideration only. All responsible businesses may submit a quote that shall be considered. All responding vendors must be Central Contractor Registered (CCR). Technical POC: E01 Babin Ph: 619-437-9603 E-Mail: james.babin@navsoc.socom.navy.mil Description: Provide and install safety equipment for a 2005 Ford Excursion. designated Emergency Response Vehicle (ERV) as per the following. (1) Public address system with siren and speaker (2) rear view amber mirror light installed to inside of windshield (3) Dual rotating beacons with magnetic base in cab mount and controls (4) four switch control box for lighting (5) four corner stobe system wired into EOM Lights (6) Six interior self contained amber strobe heads installed to rear and side window areas (7) four total "SAFETY VEHICLE" stickers with white reflective background and red reflective letters (8) Full length and width aluminum floor pan with 3" full perimeter lip for containment notch on passenger side for seating (9) Floor pan shall have an additional aluminum angle welded to floor pan to act as a side shift retainer for gurney (10) Fabricate and install a shelf unit to exterior of Excursion at the curbside side rear window area with three total trays (11) Charging system of dual 200 amp. 12 volts (12) High intensity spot lights each side of vehicle (13) Eight inch large driving fog lights (14) Heavy duty extra life batteries (15) 12,000 load limit winch with 30 yards of cable and tow hook. All components installed with any and all required components and insustry standards procedures. Evaulation Criterial consist of best price, best delivery, and technically accepted RFQ.
