- The Government intends to award a competitive contract, for the procurement of Shore Power Cable Connector Kits of various sizes and quantities. The connectors shall be 7-3/4" long; 2 " diameter; one conductor within each connector; connectors within each pigtail shall be three (red, white, red) each male on one end and three each female on the other end; the outside of the connectors shall be ethylene propylene thermoplastic rubber (EPTR); and the connectors shall be copper. The connectors shall be in accordance with OPNAVINST 11310.3B including attachments 2-2.1 and 2-2.2. A copy of the instruction can be downloaded from the following website: http://doni.daps.dla.mil/Directives. The Request For Quote (RFQ) will be available on or about 27 April 2009 by downloading the documents at the NECO Website as follows: https://www.neco.navy.mil. The size standard is 500 Employees and the applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 335931. ! FOB Origin to Norfolk, VA. This procurement will utilize procedures under FAR 13.5. This office will no longer issue a hard copy of the Request For Quote (RFQ); therefore, a copy can only be obtained from the website listed above. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this RFQ, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and a! nnual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at https://www.bpn.gov.
