- This notice serves as a pre-solicitation notice for replacement and maintenance of a main boiler control panel in the Juneau Federal Building in Juneau, Alaska. The General Services Administration, Public Building Services, Region 10PZ4 in Anchorage, Alaska intends to award a sole source contract to Siemens Building Technologies, 5333 Fairbanks St., Suite-B Anchorage, AK 99518. A solicitation notice will be posted on Fed Biz Ops approximately 15 days after this notification posting date. The tasks to be executed under this sole source procurement includes removal of the current master boiler control panel (MBCP) and replace with a new modular master boiler control panel with all necessary point IO modules to control the sequencing, firing rate, and isolation valve of each boiler. The new MBCP shall communicate and interface seamlessly with the existing Siemens Apogee Building Automation System. The Contractor shall provide service, diagnostic analysis, and maintenance of all new work for one year after completion of the work. All service calls and repair work shall be responded to within 2 hours of all reported problems. The Contractor shall provide a minimum of 2 days of training to GSA and maintenance persons. The Contractor shall provide a written description of their proposed solution to the requirements of the scope of work as described in the solicitation with their offer. The NAICs code for this procurement is 238990, All Other Specialty Trade Contractors. The estimated contract value is $50,000 - $100,000.
