- Radiation Oncology Interior Renovation. Work includes general construction, alterations, mechanical and electrical work, utility systems, security system, necessary removal of existing assemblies and construction, and certain other items. Project Location is at the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105, Ground Level, Radiation Oncology Department. Project summary: Interior renovations and remodeling of outpatient treatment areas supporting the Radiation Oncology Department. Portions of the project area and surrounding spaces are currently occupied and in use and will remain in use throughout the duration of the project. Contractor will coordinate closely with the Facility Engineer to ensure completion of work is phased appropriately to ensure minimal disruption to ongoing Medical Center activities. This procurement has been set-aside 100% for award to Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Concerns (SDVOSB). Offers from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered and shall be rejected. NAICS code 236220 applies with a business size standard of $33.5 million. The SDVOSB must be registered in the following websites: http://vip.vetbiz.gov, http://ccr.gov and http://orca.bpn.gov to be eligible for award. The project cost range is $1,000,000 and $2,500,000. SITE VISIT: will be scheduled and that information will be in the solicitation package. The solicitation document will be posted to www.febbizopps.gov on or about May 13, 2009 with bid opening approximately 30 days later. Dissemination of the specifications and drawings is limited to electronic medium only. All interested bidders (prime and sub) should register at www.fedbizopps.gov so that others will know your interest in participating in this procurement and for automatic receipt of updates or amendments. A bidder's mailing list WILL NOT be prepared nor distributed by the Contracting Officer, as it is the bidder's responsibility to register at the Fedbizopps website. All requests for information are required to be in writing to the Contracting Officer and shall be received within ten days prior to the bid opening. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
