Description
The following companies (in no particular order) have successfully pre-qualified to receive Request for Offer (RFO) DTFAEA-09-R-SJ003, for site preparation requirements to support the installation of Airport Surface Detection Equipment Model X Systems at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), Washington, DC 20001: 1.Singleton Electric, Devner, CO 80210-6234 2.Kobo Utility Construction Corp., South Yarmouth, MA 02664 3.J. Schouten Construction, Englewood, CO 80110 4.The Matthews Group, Purcellville, VA 20134 5.DEG Enterprises, Inc., Norfolk, NE 68701 6.The Chappy Corp., Chelsea, MA 02150 All aforementioned companies submitting a price must be registered and active in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Data Base prior to award. RFO was issued on April 8, 2009. Closing Date for receipt of price proposals is 3:30 PM, EST on April 29, 2009. Please refer to the SIR number DTFAEA-09-R-SJ003 (DCA) when responding. This is a best value procurement. The Government reserves the right to award on initial offers without discussions or to conduct one on one discussion with one or more offers. The Government is seeking offers that provide the best combination of quality and price in order to select the greatest value or "best value" offer. Therefore, award may be made to other than the lowest price offered. Price proposals should be submitted through the U.S. Postal Service, Certified and Registered Mail, Special Delivery or overnight mail. BWI and LGA successful, pre-qualified companies will be announced separately for each location. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
