- Description
- This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center - Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office intends to acquire through a competitive basis a leased local exchange access commercial network service, path/interface to the Public Switch Telephone Network (PSTN) supporting simultaneous access, transmission and switching of voice, data and image services for Naval Air Station (NAS) Joint Reserve Base (JRB) in Fort Worth, Texas. A firm fixed priced contract is anticipated. The basic period of performance is from 1 October 2009 through 30 September 2010, with four (4) one-year options. Requirement will be solicited as a commercial item using the special simplified acquisition procedures as set forth in FAR Part 13.5. Offerors must submit technical and cost proposals. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that will be considered by the Navy. The RFQ will be mad! e available electronically, upon its release, which is anticipated on or about 5/4/09 at http://www.neco.navy.mil. The RFQ number is N00189-09-T-Z067. NOTE: ALL OFFERORS MUST BE REGISTERED (HTTP://WWW.CCR.GOV) IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (CCR).
