- Description
- The South Dakota Army National Guard (SDARNG) has a requirement for commercial/catered meals. The contractor shall provide all subsistence, condiments, supplies, disposable plates, disposable utensils and labor for preparing and serving the meals. No Government furnished Facility or equipment is available. The meals are required during the time frame of 6-19June09 on Ellsworth Air Force Base. The proposal schedule will require price proposals for Breakfast and Dinner Meal, and Sack Lunches. The Government will evaluate each prospective offer utilizing proposed costs for all meals based on the tentative numbers provided. The contractor must be found acceptable based on the factors listed in Clause 52.212-2 in the Solicitation. The awardee shall meet all requirements of a food preparation/serving business within the State of South Dakota. No award shall be made unless the Contracting Officer makes confirmation of affirmative determination of responsibility for the potential contractor. Potential contractor must complete the Central Contractor Registration process prior to award of contract. This acquisition is 100% small business set aside. For NAICS 7223 (formerly SIC 5812) for Food Service Contractor the small business size standard is $20.5M. The solicitation and any amendments will be available at the Website, http://sdguard.ngb.army.mil and then by selecting Contracting. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available at this website o/a 21April09. Tentative RFP solicitation response date is noon 8May09.
