- THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR HALFSCALE MODELS BASED ON LM S AND ES ADVANCED STIRLING RADIOISOTOPE GENERATOR CAD MODEL. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as theofficial amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued.The purpose of this amendment is to 1)EXTEND THE SOLICITATION DUE DATE, 2)AMEND THESTATEMENT OF WORK, AND 3)ADD A THIRD BEST VALUE CHARACTERISTIC.1) The due date for receipt of offers is extended to APRIL 24, 2009, 4:30 p.m. GRC localtime.2) In the Statement of Work on slide 2, delete: Material shall be Aluminum where possibleand substitute in lieu thereof: The offeror shall propose suitable materials and shallprovide an explanation of why the chosen material(s) were selected.3) Add to the BEST VALUE characteristics under "Selection," 3) Quality and durability ofthe proposed models for long term use by the Government.
