- This is not a solicitation, but a Notice of Contract Action. The AFDW/A7KM, Ft. Detrick MD, intends to award a sole-source Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract to Laurel Bridges Software, Inc., for 2 each- Exodus Basic Edition TKS (OEM) [Latitude XFR D630 Charcoal Black]; 1 each- Exodus Application System Training (Standard); 8 hours- Telephone Support (minimum hours). Description: (a) The Exodus will be considered successfully installed when it is shown to cause DICOM studies to be sent from the source archive to the destination, which may be Switchboard, in a representative migration of all studies reported for a one day period on the source archive. (b) Any computer platforms or systems purchased for Exodus TKS systems will be owned by the Exodus End User. Any warranty, if available, will be provided soley by the computer manufacturer directly to the Exodus End User. (c) Deliver at least one copy of the current release of appropriate software and allow end user to make one copy of the software for archival purposes. Under the authority of USC 2304(c)(1) pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(2)(i), supplies or services needed by the agency are available from only one responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy the needs of the agency. A determination not to compete this requirement is based on market research and is soley within the discretion of the Government. This announcement is not a request for competitive quotations. Inquiries should be directed no later than 12:00 p.m., 23 April 2009, via email, referencing FA7014-09-Exodus, to Mr. Rodney D. Aytch, Contract Specialist, rodney.aytch.ctr@detrick.af.mil. The Government will review all responses, without prejudice, whether or not the Government initially determines that another firm is fully qualified to fulfill the U.S. Air Force requirement. Note: If documents are sent via email, the contractor will be responsible for validating Government receipt by call the Contract Specialist at (301) 619-8927. No soliciation is available and telephone requests for information will not be honored.
