- The Bureau of Indian Affairs, Haskell Indian Nations University, Acquisition Office intends to issue a Sole Source award to the American Indian Higher Education Consortium (AIHEC) 121 Oronoco Street, Alexandria, VA. This requirement is being advertised under Other Than Full and Open Competition by the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 6, Subparts 6.301 and 6.302. The AIHEC is the only responsible source with the ability to publish the Tribal College Journal (TCJ) and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. AIHEC shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, and supervision necessary to perform editorial insert, writing/editing, copy/content editing, design. The period of performance is date of award through March 30, 2010 with 4 additional 12 month option periods. Any responses to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. In doing so, interested sources must submit it certification to as a reseller for the Tribal College Journal. Detailed capabilities must be submitted to the Bureau of Indian Education, Haskell Indian Nations University Acquisition Office, 155 Indian Ave. #5006, Lawrence, KS 66046. This notice affirmative written response is received within 3 days from the publication of this synopsis; a contract may be issued to the AIHEC without further notice.
