- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. Note: The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, Rhode Island is NOT accepting quotes or proposals via submission through NECO. Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, RI is soliciting for a firm fixed price supply type contract for two (2) Modified ISO Containers for project testing. This acquisition is anticipated to be set aside for Small Businesses. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 332311, size standard is 500 employees. The anticipated posting date of solicitation N66604-09-Q-2641 is on or abouit 28 April 2009 with a closing date or on about 5 May 2009. Complete specifications to be included in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a proposal or quotation. Evaluation shall be in accordance with FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items. Products to be delivered four to six weeks after date of contract, FOB: Destination Newport, RI. Proposed contract to be awarded using FAR Part 13.5. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the FEDBIZOPPS and NECO website.
