- The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is in the process of issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) Number Q9C5AAC0015, in support of HUD Headquarters, Policy Development and Research (PD&R), Office of Economic Assires, Economic and Market Analysis Division. The RFQ is for a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order under Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedure (SAP) not to exceed $80,000. The objectives of the RFQ is to obtain the services of one or more highly qualified and experienced housing economists to provide Technical Assistance to HUD's field Economists. Such assistance will include tranining, on FHA Housing Market Techniques, review of analytical spreadsheets, review of technical reviews, updating analyltical models and related documentation, consultation with HUD's Chief Housing Market Analyst and Director of the Economic and Market Analysis Division, consultation on Fair Market Rents, Income Limits, and other housing assistance issues. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 531390 with a small business size standard of 2.0 million. The proposed Purchase Order Period of Performance will be for twelve (12) months. The RFQ will be issued electronically on or about May 5, 2009. The RFQ closing date is anticipated to be June 4, 2009. The RFQ and any amendments, updates, questions, answers, and changes to the posted information will be available at the following websites: http://www.fedbizoops.gov/. and the HUD Current Contracting Opportunities website. http://www.hud.gov/offices/cpo/contract.cfm. Potential Quoters who download copies of the RFQ from HUD's Internet site will not automatically received any amendments to the RFQ. Quoter's are advised to check the HUD websites frequently to see if HUD has issued any amendments to the RFQ. All amendments will be posted to FedbizOpps and the HUD Homepage Contracting Opportunities website.
