- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation PR1300124040-0001 is issued as a request for quote and incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-32. This solicitation shall be awarded on a sole source basis to Jeppesen Marine, Mashpee MA, as the only supplier and manufacturer of the CMPA-93 Worldwide License Subscription. The NAICS Code for solicitation is 334119, with a size standard not to exceed 1000 employees. This solicitation sets forth the requirements for providing license devices. The purchase will consist of a four (4) year subscription due to their ability to interface with the unique hardware and software systems already in place. These proprietary licenses will be used to update the system with the latest information from the Coast Guard Notice to Mariners data already in use on the COVE system at the Surface Warfare Officer’s School, Newport RI. Award will be made in the form of a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The anticipated award date is May 5, 2009. The Government intends to pay using Wide Area Work Flow. (WAWF) The following FAR/DFARS provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.204-7, 52.212-1, 52.212-4, 52.212-5, DFARS 252.232-7003, 252.204-7004 Alt A, 252.212-7001. A completed copy of the following must be included with each quote unless ORCA and FAR 52.204-8 is submitted. FAR 52.212-3, Full versions of the FAR/DFARS clauses can be located at the following site: http://www.arnet.gov/far or http://farsite.hill.af.mil/. The DPAS rating for this solicitation is N/A.
