- SYNOPSIS Single frequency, all-solid-state diode pumped Verdi Laser The 96 Contracting Squadron, Eglin AFB, FL, intends to solicit and award a sole source firm-fixed price contract for a single frequency, all-solid-state diode pumped Verdi Laser to Coherent, Inc., 5100 Patrick Henry Drive, Santa Clara, CA 95054-1112 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). Anticipated award date is 1 May 2009. This requirement is for: CLIN 0001: (1 each) Single frequency, all-solid-state diode pumped Verdi Laser. Specifications follow: laser linewidth is less than 5 MHz Full Width at Half Maximum; 8 watts continuous power; output wavelength of 532 nm; less than 0.03% rms amplitude noise. These items are to be delivered to Air Force Research Laboratory/MNMF, Eglin AFB, FL 32542 FOB Destination. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 334413, small business size standard: 500 employees. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. However, the government will consider all responses received within 7 days of publication. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
