- Mission & Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Directorate of Contracting, Fort Lewis, Washington is soliciting proposals for a contractor to provide the services required for the removal of existing emergency equipment from military police vehicles and the installation of new emergency equipment to new military police vehicles at Fort Lewis, WA. The contractor shall furnish all personnel, additional equipment, facilities, supplies, services, and materials, equipment required for the removal and installation of the emergency equipment as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). A complete performance work statement will be included in the solicitation. The solicitation will result in an award to a single contractor of a firm-fixed-price requirements contract. The anticipated period of performance is May 30, 2009 through September 15, 2009. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business. The Request for Proposal (RFP) number is W911S8-09-T-0015. The applicable NAICS code is 811111 and the small business size standard is $ 7.0 million. Telephonic requests for the solicitation will not be honored. When issued, the solicitation will be available via the Fed Biz Opps website, http://www.fbo.gov and the Army Single Face to Industry (AFSI) website, https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. The solicitation will also be posted on the Fort Lewis Directorate of Contracting website, http://www.lewis.army.mil/doc, under Solicitations. The tentative solicitation issue date is May 6,2009 and the anticipated closing date is May 20, 2009. Interested offerors are advised to consult the actual solicitation for final dates and times. Prospective offerors are urged to attend the pre-proposal conference, date and time to be identified in the solicitation, and to submit any questions they may have in advance of the conference to princess.speight@us.army.mil. Offers from all capable and responsible sources will be considered.
