Description
The inaugural United States Air, Trade, and Technology (USATT) Expo will take place on 14-19 July 2009. This aerospace event is the result of a Congressionally-funded study identifying the need for a U.S.-based air, trade and technology event. The Air Force Association (Ohio Chapter) and the Dayton Area Defense Contractors Association are hosting this event. The Expo will combine three key elements: an aerospace technology conference, a targeted trade show, and an air show. It will provide an opportunity for the aerospace industry and key government officials to discuss current and future challenges in the aerospace sector. The aerospace technology conference will include six tracks: 1) Advanced Manufacturing Techniques, 2) Alternative Energy/Fuels, 3) Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), 4) Sensors, 5) Human Performance and Aerospace Medicine, and 6) Wright Dialogue with Industry (WDI). WDI has historically been a separate conference during which industry and acad! emia engage with the Air Force Research Laboratory on technology challenges and planned government solicitations. WDI is being incorporated into the technology portion of the Expo as one of the six tracks and requires attendees to submit a valid DD 2345 form to participate. The first five tracks will be open to an international audience and have no attendance restrictions. You are invited to attend, sponsor, exhibit, submit an abstract to present or submit a poster presentation. Visit the web site for sponsorship and exhibiting information. Also, visit the "speaker zone" on the web site to submit a presentation abstract or poster presentation that will be reviewed by the conference planning committee. For questions on submitting a presentation abstract or poster presentation contact Jay Walker JWalker@TechnologyForums.com or call 703-740-1953. For questions regarding exhibit and sponsorship opportunities contact Donna Massey DMassey@TechnologyForums.com or call 703! -740-1943. Please direct any questions regarding government participation to Ms Erin Krizo, AFRL/CCX, 937-255-0328. Questions pertaining to the Wright Dialogue with Industry portion may be directed to Ms Linda Lange, 711 HPW/XPO, 937-255-3676.. Please note that the air show (July 18-19) requires a separate registration. Sponsorships are limited so act quickly - please check the website for information and details: www.USATTexpo.org
